My first released work as a solo artist. The album blends gothic western and grunge. Many songs have thematic links to rivers, given the EP name. Working on the album has given me experience in the recording/producing and songwriting aspects of music creation.

ghostcity

An indie-folk EP that I worked on as a recording engineer. I also helped write the song Promethus, and mixed the songs Prometheus, Charon & Prometheus (Again). The storytelling of the album is influenced by stories from Greek Mythology.

wind and metal

A multi-genre mixtape EP following the history and colonisation of Wellington. I wrote the song Tory and was involved in the field recording and mixing process. This album uses field recordings and a 7.1 surround sound mix to place the listener into the environment and music.

Growing Pains is a collaborative EP by Anna Praill, who has collaborated with other Wellington-based musicians. I collaborated on the track All Things, and engineered the tracks All Things, Eulogy in Open D/Eulogy II and 10 Year Reunion.

A collection of live video recordings of covers and originals published online in 2022. Bands were assigned genres and had to recreate the covers in that genre and write originals in the genre.

Collecting Culture: A Defence of Physical Music Media is a zine created by myself, Alice Burnett and Anna Praill. It explores the benefits of collecting vinyl records, CDs and other physical forms of music and includes interviews from local record stores.
